A nonprofit community, Warm Hearth Village was founded in 1974 by Wybe and Marietje Kroontje, Dutch immigrants who came to the U.S. after World War II.
Eager to give something back to the country that had given so much to them, Wybe and Marietje created a community dedicated to enriching the lives of seniors of all socioeconomic backgrounds.

The Village Center is a beautiful timber frame building set amidst lush woodlands that create a backdrop that changes with the seasons.
Unrivaled by catering venues in the New River Valley, the modern community room boasts a wall of windows overlooking the terrace that spills out into the 220-acre woodland campus.
All food and beverage items must be provided by The Village Gourmet and will be subject to 5.3% Virginia sales tax, 4% Montgomery County meals tax and a 20% service charge.
The Village Gourmet must be notified of the final guaranteed number at least seven days prior to the event date.
